Sarajevo is waiting for the Croatian judiciary's final verdict in the suit the Federation's Privatisation Agency filed in 2007, Sarajevo's Dnevni Avaz daily quoted Senad Rahimic, head of the Federation's directorate for the management of the entity companies' passive sub-balance, as saying in Tuesday's issue.
The suit was filed against the Croatian company Djuro Djakovic which delivered 13 tanks to Kuwait in the early 1990s.
Rahimic said the Bosnian companies Zrak, Famos and BNT were involved in the manufacture and that the tanks were sold for $12.5 million.
In proceedings held to date, Croatian courts found in favour of the Federation's Privatisation Agency. According to Rahimic, the Croatian Constitutional Court still has to rule on an appeal lodged against a judgement handed down by the High Commercial Court in Zagreb.
Dnevni Avaz said that unofficially, the Constitutional Court has ruled in favour of the Bosnian request.
