The decision was made because the Croatian government and representatives of Serb organisations in Croatia have shown no genuine desire to support that initiative, a statement said.
"We find unacceptable the Croatian government's attempt to justify Storm with Veljko Dzakula's arrival as a legitimate liberation operation, although it was a joint criminal enterprise and represents the final act of ethnic cleansing of Croatia of Serbs," the coalition said.
The coalition said it would not scrap the plan to lay wreaths in Zirovac and would do so in the coming period.
