Movies will be screened at the town's main square until Wednesday, the last day of the festival. Some of those films from the main programme are "Alois Nebel" by director Tomas Lunak, "Paradise:Love" by Ulrich Seidl, "Dark Horse" by Todd Solondz or "Angel's Share" by Ken Loach.
At the opening ceremony, the festival's organisers held a performance "to pay their last respects" to traditional celluloid reels in light of the fact that digital formats have swept through modern society, and in the era of digitalisation, the next festival is likely to be without celluloid reels.
