BRIJUNI, July 21
(Hina) - Croatia's President Ivo Josipovic and the
visiting UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Saturday morning began
their talks in the White Villa residential palace on the island of
Veliki Brijun. Later in the day, Ban is expected to hold meetings with
Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic and Foreign Minister Vesna Pusic and to
attend the opening of the Pula Film festival on Saturday evening.
Ban arrived in Zagreb on Friday afternoon for his three-day official visit to Croatia on the occasion of the 20th anniversary the country's United Nations membership. He visited Slovenia on Friday morning.
During his tour of southeastern Europe, the UN Secretary-General will stop also in other countries in the area of former Yugoslavia.
