Radjenovic said Croatia adopted the first Consumer Protection Act in 2003, a new one in 2007 and amendments to it in 2009, adding that parliament, at the government's proposal, adopts a national consumer protection programme for a four-year period.
He added that there are 25 consumer protection associations in Croatia.
Discussing economic cooperation between Thailand and Croatia, the two sides said it could be intensified and that it should be encouraged.
Radjenovic said Croatian companies were interested in participating in the development of Thailand's infrastructure.
Croatia is interesting to Thai business people because of its location, transport infrastructure and upcoming accession to the European Union.
