SOSICE, June 22
(Hina) - Mass and religious services and prayers as
well as wreath-laying ceremonies were held on Friday at the Jazovka
pit in the village of Sosice in the western Croatian mountainous area
of Zumberak in tribute to civilian victims and soldiers of the
Independent State of Croatia killed by the Tito-led Partisan units in
1943 and in the wake of the Second World War.
