ZOIC must pay the Austrian companies about HRK 44 million but the amount, including court costs and interest, could reach HRK 60 million, ZOIC manager Milan Kamenko told reporters on Thursday.
He said the contract was cancelled in January 2009, because the building permit was not obtained in time and the project was not aligned with Croatian regulations. He said it was later established the Croatian and German versions of the contract did not coincide in some details.
Kamenko said ZOIS would contest the Paris ruling, possibly even at the arbitration tribunal in Munich.
