ZAGREB, May 24
(Hina) - Presenting his regular report on the
performance of the Office of the Human Rights Ombudsman in 2011,
ombudsman Jurica Malcic told the national parliament on Thursday that
he hoped the times were over when the parliamentary majority had
refused to accept his annual reports with an explanation that it had
only taken note of it and when, he said, the majority had borne a
grudge against him for making his own assessments on the state of
human rights in the country.
