ZAGREB, May 21
(Hina) - Former Yugoslav People's Army (JNA)
reservist Svetozar Sarac, wounded in September 1991 on a bridge on the
River Korana in Karlovac, some 50 kilometres southwest of Zagreb, said
before the Supreme Court on Monday that Mihajlo Hrastov had not been
among the people who shot at him and his fellow fighters on the Korana
Bridge. Hrastov, a former Croatian special police officer, is charged
with a war crime in which 13 captured JNA prisoners of war were killed
and two were wounded.
