A total of 313 one-minute films from 45 countries have been submitted, 60 of which will be shown in official competition, GFR Film-Video president Zeljko Balog told reporters in Pozega on Saturday, adding that submissions had been made for the first time from Cyprus, Egypt, and Kosovo.
An expert jury will award the best movies and the audience will also choose its favourite. The author of the film which contributes to understanding between peoples will receive a UNICEF award.
Balog said the majority of the submissions were feature and animation films, although there were also documentaries and experimental movies.
