Mimica said Croatia supported Bosnia and Herzegovina on its road to European Union and NATO membership, notably in light of a forthcoming NATO summit in Chicago.
Lagumdzija said Croatian-Bosnian relations were friendly and that it was in the interest of both countries to solve outstanding issues through intensive negotiations.
He underlined the importance of regional cooperation for both countries, notably in road-building, and agreed that all issues, including trade relations, should be solved solely through dialogue and in the sprit of good neighbourly relations.
The two officials concluded that Croatia could significantly support Bosnia in its Euro-Atlantic integration and that it was necessary to intensify political dialogue and cooperation in many areas of common interest.
