A total of 21,726 people reported to the HZZ in March, down 15.1 per cent on the month and up 5.1 per cent on the year.
Split-Dalmatia County has the highest unemployment - 46,360 jobless, or 13.6 per cent of all the jobless in the country. It is followed by the City of Zagreb (41,869 jobless and a 12.3 per cent share) and Osijek-Baranja County (35,700 jobless and a 10.5 per cent share).
Lika-Senj County has the lowest unemployment - 3,462 jobless or one per cent of all the jobless in the country.
In March, 24,795 people registered with HZZ left the Service, up 45.9 per cent on the month and down eight per cent on the year. Of them, 16,902 found employment.
A total of 79,278 people received unemployment benefits, down 9.7 per cent on the year.
