ZAGREB, March 23
(Hina) - The first meeting of the regional centres
for cultural heritage in southeastern Europe was held in Zadar on
Friday, drawing representatives of the European Commission, the World
Bank, other international institutions and officials of culture and
foreign ministers of European countries, the Croatian culture ministry
reported on its web site.
The "First Meeting of the Regional Centres for Cultural Heritage in South-Eastern Europe: Cooperation, Partnerships, Funding" was opened by Deputy Culture Minister Berislav Sipus, who thanked the UNESCO Office in Venice for promoting projects for cooperation in the region.
