Sprem welcomed the agreement on the appointment of the president and two members of the arbitration tribunal that will decide on the two countries' border dispute. He said that economic relations were good and that their further improvement was in mutual interest.
Volk said he was pleased to see that parliamentary cooperation between the two countries was intensifying. He stressed the importance of regional cooperation, including cooperation on issues of common interest within the European Union, such as industry, agriculture, and free flow of capital.
