Rapporteur on Serbia, Jelko Kacin, and British Minister of State for
Europe at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office David Lidington issued
separate statements on Wednesday warning Serbia that holding Serbian
local elections on Kosovo's soil would be contrary to international
law and the policy of the European Union.
