(Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Social
Democratic Party (SDP) Vice President Milanka Opacic has said that the
appointment of office-holders in state companies and institutions
along party lines is normal and fairer than pro-forma public
invitations to apply for those jobs, as it was the custom of the
previous Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) government.
