ZAGREB, Feb 10
(Hina) - Croatia should be granted a right to respond
to and defend itself against the findings of the Trial Chamber in the
case of Croatian generals Ante Gotovina, Ivan Cermak and Mladen
Markac, which has found it responsible for war crimes committed as
part of a joint criminal enterprise involving senior Croatian state
officials, the Croatian government said in a submission to the
Hague-based International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia
(ICTY) requesting leave to present its arguments at the appeal stage
of the Gotovina and Markac case.
