$ CEVO SELO
MOSTAR, Dec 29 (Hina) - After HVO in central Bosnian insisted for
several days, the British UNPROFOR battalion attempted yesterday to
establish the facts concerning the crime committed by the Muslim
army over Croats in Krizancevo Selo near Vitez during their big
pre-Christmas offensive, HABENA informed carrying the press release
by Herzeg-Bosnian Defense Ministry. The British 'blue berets'
entered the village, but they were not able to carry out full
investigation due to heavy fire coming from the Muslim positions.
They found a dozen dead bodies, but they were forced to withdraw,
according to the same source.
In a conversation with Hina's reported, the spokesperson of the
British UNPROFOR Command in Divulje near Split Fred Perry confirmed
that the British soldiers had entered the village of Krizancevo
Selo, but that due to intensive shooting directed at them from the
Muslim positions they were not able to carry out the full
investigation. He also said that the British battalion will
continue the investigation when they get the permission from the
3rd B-H Army Corps to enter the village. Perry also said that the
British troops have no knowledge of what happened and where are the
50 villagers of Krizancevo Selo.
According to the information HVO in central Bosnia has, the
members of the Muslim forces killed 15 persons and 53 persons are
declared missing. According to the ICRC report, Muslims have
imprisoned 3 persons from that area in the Zenica prison.
