ROME, Dec 5 (Hina) - The founding meeting of the Croatian-Italian
Society was held in the Italian Capital on Saturday. Mirko Sikic
was appointed to be the Chairman of the society, whereas the
articles of the association were also adopted at yesterday's
founding assembly.
The seat of the society will be in Rome. The society will organize
cultural and humanitarian activities, and contribute to better
connections between two neighbouring peoples, Croats and Italians.
It has already started its first humanitarian action aimed at
delivering relief aid to children-victims of the war in Bosnia-
Herzegovina at the occasion of Christmas.
