SYMPOSIUM ON RELIGIOUS DENOMINATIONS AND WAR

SPLIT, Dec 2 (Hina) - A three-day symposium, called "Religious Denominations and War", commenced today in Split. The symposium, in which guests from Brussels, Paris, Parma, Zagreb and Germany are taking part, is to put emphasis on the issue of the religion and war in the light of the war on the territories of Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. There are followers of the Roman-Catholic, Orthodox, Evangelic, Jewish and Islamic religions among the participants of this symposium. The symposium will finish on Saturday. 021848 MET dec 93
