SERB TERRORISTS ATTACK AREAS OF ZADAR, SIBENIK AND SINJ

ZADAR, Dec 1 (Hina) - Serb terrorists fired about 20 mortar and cannon shells on Paljuv, the Zadar hinterland, from 18:00 to 22:00 Tuesday. Novigrad, Zemunik Donji and Suhovare were also hit by shells, said the local Croatian Army command on Wednesday morning. Serb terrorists opened anti-aircraft machine-gun fire towards Debeljak and Bila Vlaka. The area of Bila Vlaka was occasionally pounded with anti-aircraft cannons at about 21:00 hours. Serb commando team attempted to breakthrough the Stankovac area, but the Croatian Army successfully repelled the attack at about 22:00 hours. No casualties but extensive material damage was reported by the same source. The Croatian side protested with UNPROFOR because of the attacks. On the battlefields of Sibenik and Drnis, Serb paramilitary formations opened anti-aircraft machine-gun and cannon fire at the Mosec area.
