ZADAR, Nov 27 (Hina) - The locations of Podgradina and Suhovare on the
Zadar-Biograd battlefield (northern Dalmatia) were exposed to sporadic
artillery and mortar fire of the Serb terrorists up until 23:00 hrs
Saturday. The village of the Islam Grcki was hit by several howitzer
shells at the same time, reported the local command of the Croatian
Army. The northern part of the Zadar-Biograd battlefield came under
cannon and anti-aircraft cannon fire at about 20:00 hrs Saturday, while
the village of Kasic was impacted by a dozen various rounds on Saturday
evening. A lull ensued on the Zadar-Biograd battlefield after 23:00 hrs
Saturday. The attacks of the Serb aggressors left no casualties, but
caused considerable material damage.
The Croatian side issued an official protest with UNPROFOR due to last
evening's gratuitous attacks of the Serb irregulars.
The Serb terrorists opened anti-aircraft cannon fire at the locations
of Kusetici, Umljanovici and the source of the Cikola river on the Sinj-
Drnis battlefield (central Dalmatia) from 19:00 hrs Saturday up until
midnight, said the same source.
Calm Saturday night and Sunday morning were reported from the Sibenik
battlefield (central Dalmatia), according to the same source.
