ATTACKS ON ZADAR-BIOGRAD BATTLEFIELD

ZADAR, Nov 27 (Hina) - The Serb aggressors carried out attacks on the Zadar-Biograd battlefield up until 23:00 hrs Friday, reported the local Croatian Army command. The greater areas of Pristeg and Dobra Voda, east of Benkovac, came under mortar and anti-aircraft machine-gun fire last evening, whereas the Serb terrorists also opened mortar fire at Kasic, Suhovare and Novigrad in this crisis region in northern Dalmatia earlier on Friday evening. A lull ensued on the northern Dalmatian battlefields after the midnight, said the same source. No casualties were reported, but huge material damage was inflicted in last evening's attacks of the Serb irregulars. The Croatian side lodged an official complaint with UNPROFOR because of those unprovoked assaults.
