ZADAR, Nov 25 (Hina) - Serb paramilitary forces pounded Kasic, a village
in the Zadar hinterland, with heavy multiple-rocket launcher, cannon and
mortar fire from 8:00 to 12:00 hours on Thursday, said the Croatian Army
command in Zadar. At the same time, several cannon shells struck
Pristeg, east of Benkovac, and Paljuv near Zadar. Serb troops also fired
several tank shells on Croatian Army positions on Mount Velebit.
No casualties were reported on the Croatian side. The Croatian Army
command lodged a protest with UNPROFOR over the attacks.
In the Sinj area, Serb formations opened anti-aircraft cannon fire on
Vucipolje between 14:00 and 15:00 hours.
