UNPROFOR SPOKESMAN ON ATTACK TO GORAZDE

SARAJEVO, Nov 24 (Hina) - The spokesman for UNPROFOR in Sarajevo, colonel William Aikman, said at a press briefing on Wednesday that the eastern Bosnian town of Gorazde came under heavy artillery fire from Serbian positions on Thursday, reported Radio B-H. The radio quoted colonel Aikman as saying that Serbs fired a hundred shells of various caliber on the center of the city in less than 45 minutes yesterday morning. Aikman said that a house in which UN military observers were quartered was deliberately targeted.
