MEDJUGORJE, Nov 14 (Hina) - About 150 women, children and elderly people
from central Bosnia, sheltered in Capljina, Visici and Celjevo, staged a
protest in front of the International Committee of the Red Cross
headquarters in Medjugorje on Sunday, said Herzeg-Bosnia's news agency
HABENA.
The refugees requested that Croat civilians and members of the Croatian
Defence Council (HVO) be released from Moslem-run detention camps in
Konjic, Jablanica, Bugojno and Travnik, and that all the refugees and the
displaced return to their homes.
The head of the ICRC mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Claudio Baranzini,
said that the release of detainees depended on agreement between the HVO
and the Moslem side.
