VITEZ, Nov 12 (Hina) - The Croatian Defence Council (HVO) command in Vitez,
central Bosnia, reported that Moslem forces used chlorine-filled
projectiles in an attack on the villages of Lazine and Krcevine on Friday
afternoon. The HVO lodged a protest with UNPROFOR over the attack,
requesting their resolute action.
The Croatian enclaves in central Bosnia lack food supplies. In the
Franciscan hospital at Nova Bila there 86 wounded, of whom 32 seriously.
Local authorities have sent a request to the UNPROFOR headquarters in
Sarajevo for urgent evacuation.
According to a liaison officer of the UNPROFOR British Battalion, the
Bosnian Army Third Corps has requested evacuation of 11 wounded from Vitez
and in return is ready to allow the evacuation of as many wounded from Nova
Bila.
