ZADAR, Nov 12 (Hina) - "Without social quakes and the fall of production we
shall reduce inflation to 5 percent, which is 10 times less than it was.
After that the increase of production and other steps will continue. We
have good strategic stockpiles and foreign currency reserves and we have
managed to stabilize the budget and to establish order in payments. Thus,
the main steps have been taken, but they are only the first steps." This
was stated by the Croatian Premier Nikica Valentic in a conversation with
the representatives of the local city and county administration in Zadar
today.
Talking about the Croatian Dinar cash problems in the banks, Premier
Valentic said that "there are dinars", (...) but that "the insolvent banks
do not have them."
