B-H AMBASSADOR TO UN SEEKS EXTRAORDINARY SESSION OF SECURITY COUNCIL

SARAJEVO, Nov 9 (Hina) - B-H Ambassador to the UN Muhamed Sacirbey requested an extraordinary session of the UN Security Council in reference to the kidnapping of two persons who were escorting the Archbishop of Sarajevo Msgr. Vinko Puljic. These persons were kidnapped on Monday by Serbian forces, according to Tuesday's report on Sarajevo Radio. Sacirbey stated that "the leadership of B-H considers the UN directly responsible for the incident" and compared it to the murder of the B-H Deputy Premier Turajlic who was also traveling under UNPROFOR's protection in January 1993, the above source said.
