SERBIAN ATTACKS CLOSE SCHOOLS IN SLAVONSKI BROD AREA

SLAVONSKI BROD, Nov 9 (Hina) - Serbian terrorists located on the right bank of the Sava river launched several tank shells at the Croatian village of Jaruge on the left bank of the Sava 08:50. A repeated general alert signal was sounded then. This was followed by a long range artillery attack at Slavonski Samac, Krusevica, Sikirevci, Oprisavci and Svilaj (in Croatia). About 35 tank and mortar projectiles were fired causing one injured and great material damage on the homes and commercial buildings. This area has been under general danger for 59 days. The local county authorities have decided to close schools in all schools in the eastern part of the Slavonski Brod County due to their exposure to the enmy artillery attacks.
