WREATHS LAID ON SPOT OF DEATH OF EUROPEAN OBSERVERS

PODRUTE, Nov 7 (Hina) - The French and Italian Ambassadors to Croatia laid down wreaths on the place of Podrute where the helicopter of the European Community, hit by a shell of the Yugoslav Army, crushed down on the 7th of January 1992. The French Ambassador, Georges Marie Chenu, and the Italian Ambassador, Salvatore Cilento, laid the wreathes as the act of remembrance of the French and Italian officers, Venturini, Rammaci, Eychenne, Matti and Natale, who died in that accident two years ago. Building a chapel on the spot of their death commenced a fey days ago. The chapel would symbolize that these officers were killed in their peace mission. 071346 MET nov 93
