ABDIC'S INTERVIEW WITH CROATIAN TELEVISION

ZAGREB, Nov 7 (Hina) - Fikret Abdic, the President of the Autonomous Province of West Bosnia, gave his interview with the Croatian Television last night, in which he stressed that the essence of fighting in the Autonomous Province of West Bosnia (AP ZB) was in the fact that the residents would be enabled to realize their will which they had shown by signing the initiative of establishing the AP ZB, no mattar that the the Fifth Corps of the B-H Army wanted to suppress that will. Mr. Abdic pointed out that the Fifth Corps constantly launched attacks in order to break through till the town of Velika Kladusa. Commenting on those clashes, Mr. Abdic said that the Fifth Corps were losing territories in those attacks. He also said that he was sure that the forces of the AP ZB would liberate the entire region of the Autonomous Province, but it was the aim of the leadership of the AP ZB to use political means to convince residents that they should be persistant in implementing of the idea of the Autonomous Province. Mr. Abdic stressed that Alija Izetbegovic did not take into account that according to the signed declarations in Zagreb and Belgrade "Moslems can return to the towns of Kulen Vakuf and Orasac. Izetbegovic is not interested in these areas and 10,000 residents who should come back, but he is only interested in the fighting against the Autonomous Province." Commenting on the passage of the convoys from Velika Kladusa via the occupied areas of Croatia to Sisak, Mr. Abdic said that those convoys marked a fresh beginning of the new life on the territory of the AP ZB.
