ONE PERSON KILLED IN SERB ATTACK ON OPRISAVCI

SLAVONSKI BROD, Nov 6 (Hina) - One person was killed and another wounded in the second attack on Oprisavci on Saturday afternoon. The attack, carried out by Serb forces station along the River Sava in northern Bosnia, inflicted substantial damage on residential and business facilities. According to the Slavonski Brod Alert Centre, the Serb forces fired about 40 mortar and cannon shells at Svilaj and Oprisavci, villages east of Slavonski Brod, on Saturday morning. Following a brief lull, they renewed the attack on Svilaj at 13:40 hours and on Oprisavci at 15:40 hours. The Alert Centre said that about 80 shells had struck the two villages in the last 24 hours.
