ZAGREB, Nov 15 (Hina) - Pleso talks between the Croatian Government
delegation and representatives of Serbs from the occupied Croatian
areas on economic issues were interrupted at 21.00 this evening
with no results.
The two sides did not come closer in views on crucial
questions, head of the Croatian government delegation Hrvoje
Sarinic said.
The Serb delegation wanted to separately discuss economic and
political questions, Sarinic said adding that it was not possible
and that this was the main problem.
The problems on water supplies and opening of the motorway
include a political moment, and that is the reintegration of the
occupied areas. The reintegration of the occupied areas into
Croatia's constitutional and legal system is our basic goal and we
insisted on it, Sarinic said.
Sarinic did not rule out the resumption of the talks and said
it would be discussed later this evening.
