SARAJEVO/MOSTAR, Oct 6 (Hina) - Moslem-Croat Federation President
Kresimir Zubak today warned that human rights of Croats in Bugojno
(which is controlled by Moslems), central Bosnia, had been
seriously violated.
Zubak demanded that Bosnian authorities should prevent
expulsions and maltreating of the Croat population.
Pressures have frequently been exerted on the remaining Croats
in Bugojno, said Zubak in a statement.
Militant groups expel the Croatian population from their
homes, intimidate them and beat them up, while the local
authorities do not even try to stop those misdeeds. Zubak said that
the authorities called all Moslems, expelled from Banja Luka and
Bijeljina, to accommodate in Bugojno.
He reminded that the fate of 26 Croats taken away from Bugojno
prisons was still unknown and said that in the meantime 2,000
Croats had been expelled.
Zubak said that those acts looked like ethnic cleansing of
Croats.
