ZAGREB, July 3 (Hina) - The Croatian Helsinki Committee on Human
Rights (HHO) said in a statement on Sunday that it received the
matter on the eviction of Stipe Mesic from rooms of the Croatian
Parliament's Speaker and Josip Manolic from rooms of Speaker of
Parliament's House of Counties. The HHO also said that this morning
Parliament's guard halted Stipe Mesic in the vestibule of the
building of Parliament and after delivering the order on the
eviction, which had been carried out without Mesic's presence, they
did not allow him to enter the building.
The same thing happened to Josip Manolic.
Newly appointed secretary of Parliament Mihovil Klapsic gave
an order on the eviction written on a piece of paper without the
seal and ordered the guard not to allow Mesic and Manolic to enter
their rooms, said HHO in the statement signed by its head Ivan
Zvonimir Cicak.
