KARLOVAC, July 1 (Hina) - Serb terrorists, threw hand-grenades
several times into Korana River in the village of Malici (near
Karlovac, some 50 km. S. of Zagreb), which is included into the
zone of separation (or the 'blue zone') in accordance with the 29
March ceasefire agreement.
The first explosion echoed at 11:50 hrs Thursday, reported
the local command of the Croatian army in Karlovac on Friday
morning. U.N. military observers and the command of the Polish U.N.
Protection Force (UNPROFOR) battalion's command were informed of
the incident.
The protest forwarded to UNPROFOR yielded no results, and
Serb terrorists continued with throwing hand-grenades into the
river until 16:00 hrs yesterday and disturbed inhabitants of the
adjacent villages, said the same source.
