CAPLJINA, June 15 (Hina) - Following a visit to Citluk and
Medjugorje, Croatian President Franjo Tudjman and his associates,
currently on a visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina, arrived in Capljina at
noon on Wednesday.
"You have done much for the freedom of this region and of
Croatia where you have fought on all fronts," Tudjman told a
gathering of several thousand residents of Capljina. "Thanks to
you, to all Croats in Herzegovina and elsewhere in Bosnia-
Herzegovina, to Croats in Croatia and abroad, we have managed to
establish the independent, sovereign and democratic Republic of
Croatia, which is recognized by the whole world and which has
friendly relations with most countries," Tudjman stressed.
