ZAGREB, June 14 (Hina) - Fighting between Fikret Abdic's forces and
Bosnian Army 5th Corps in the Bihac area, western Bosnia, continued
on Monday, said an UNPROFOR representative in Zagreb on Tuesday.
U.N. military observers registered 143 rounds fired by Abdic's
forces and 107 rounds fired by the Bosnian Army, said Spokesman for
the Zagreb-based UNPROFOR Matthew Nerzig.
Referring to a report by U.N. military observers deployed at
the Croatian-Bosnian border in the Bihac area, Nerzig said that the
UNPROFOR could not confirm that rebel Serbs from Croatia help
Abdic's forces.
