KRALJEVICA, May 7 (Hina) - A twenty-metre-long sailing boat called
" the Croatian Cigra (Tern)" has departed today from the Croatian
port of Kraljevica at the northern Adriatic coast to its voyage
around the world. The purpose of its sports-scientific expedition
called "the Arctic-the Antarctic" is to sail around the world in
the meridian directions and to approach both the poles.
The expedition is led by Mladen Sutej from Zagreb, whereas
the crew consists of 10 members. The Croatian Cigra sailing boat is
expected to return into the Adriatic Sea in three and a half years.
