ZADAR, May 6 (Hina) - The Croatian side fully implemented its
obligations in the accordance with the 29 March ceasefire
agreement, Russian Ambassador to Croatia Leonid Kerestedijanc told
a news conference today in Zadar after he visited the Sector South.
The Ambassador said that there were serious complaints against
the Serb side, as they did not fulfill their obligations. He
expressed a hope that talks between the Croatian authorities and
representatives of the local Serbs would be resumed this month.
The Russian Ambassador stressed that the international
community would made efforts towards a peaceful reintegration of
the occupied Croatian areas into Croatia's legal system. He said
that he was the Russian Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia, the
country internationally recognized within its borders.
