ZAGREB, May 5 (Hina) - Representatives of the Croatian National
Council (HNV) of Bosnia-Herzegovina held a press conference in
Zagreb Thursday at which they expressed concern about the
obstruction of the Washington agreement.
HNV representatives stressed the implementation of the
Washington agreement was thwarted by those had been enforcing the
policy of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party in Bosnia-
Herzegovina. They warned that in joint commissions for return of
refugees were people who had committed crimes and who were now
obstructing the return by setting unrealistic conditions.
HNV members stressed that the Washington agreement did not
envisage the existence of a supply corridor along the Sava river in
northern Bosnia as it only suited Greater-Serbian policies.
Speaking of the completion of ethnic cleansing of non-Serbs in
northern and northwestern Bosnia, HNV officials said there lived
about 25 thousand Croats who needed urgent assistance.
The HNV welcomed the foundation of the Croatian Independent
Democrats party, particularly its platform on Bosnia-Herzegovina.
