ZAGREB, Apr 6 (Hina) - The Croatian Government Office for Refugees
and Displaced Persons issued a statement today. The statement says
that in the last 30 days Croatia, in co-operation with UNHCR, has
given shelter to 375 Moslem refugees who were forced to leave their
homes in Banja Luka, Prijedor and Sanski Most because of ethnic
cleansing in west Bosnia. They are temporarily accommodated in the
refugee center Gasinci, until they receive documents for leaving
for third countries.
More refugees from north-western Bosnia could arrive in
Croatia because of intensified terror over non-Serbian population.
Many of them do not have possibilities for private accommodation or
leaving for third countries, says the statement.
The statement warns that Croatia has no accommodations for new
refugees.
