ZAGREB, March 4 (Hina) - Three 82 mm mortar grenades hit the base
of the British UN battalion in Zepce (some 100km north of
Sarajevo), Thursday evening at 17:50 hours. This is the information
confirmed today by the UNPROFOR Public Relations Office at the
Zagreb UN HQ.
UNPROFOR sources said that there were justified reasons to
believe that the grenades had been fired from Bosnian Serb
positions on purpose as there were no other military or civilian
targets in the vicinity.
According to the information Habena received today from the
Zepce HVO, a similar attack was repeated this morning at 06:30
hours, when three mortar shells struck the British UN Battalion
compound in the village of Ljeskovice, east of Zepce.
