SPLIT, Feb 15 (Hina) - President of the International Olympic
Committee Juan Antonio Samaranch met separately with president of
the Croatian Olympic Committee Antun Vrdoljak and a delegation of
the Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia in Split on Tuesday.
At a press conference following the talks Samaranch said he
was satisfied with cooperation with the Croatian Olympic Committee,
and that he was not denied answer to any of the questions put to
Bosnian Croat representatives.
Samaranch said he was travelling to Sarajevo tomorrow where he
would urge political leaders for ending the war. He pointed out the
International Olympic Committee was ready to reconstruct all
devastated sporting facilities in Sarajevo and elsewhere in Bosnia.
