ZAGREB, Feb 15 (Hina) - The Special Envoy of Russian President,
Vitaly Churkin, left Zagreb for Sarajevo this morning.
He is expected to hold talks with Moslem authorities'leaders,
including Alija Izetbegovic, on relieving the siege of Sarajevo and
on demilitarization of the town.
Churkin estimated yesterday that it would "open new
possibilities for a resolution of all issues in former Yugoslavia".
The Special Envoy is to return to Zagreb in the afternoon
where he is expected to meet with officials of the Croatian Foreign
Ministry and to hold a press briefing.
Charles Redman, the American President's Special Envoy,
arrived in Sarajevo yesterday. His meeting with Izetbegovic focused
on the Sarajevo authorities' views after the failure of the recent
round of the Geneva talks.
