STOLAC, Feb 4 (Hina/HABENA) - Free passage of civilians for the
first time over the confrontation line between the areas under
Serbs' and Croats' control at the location of Hrgud (some 30
kilometres southeast of Mostar) was organized today under control
of European observers.
At this occasion 93 Serbs, mostly from the town of Mostar,
passed to the territory under control of Bosnian Serbs' forces,
whereas 16 Croats entered the territory under control of the
Croatian Defence Council (HVO).
Some of the Serbian civilians wanted to visit their
relatives, and some wanted to join their families. The Croatian
civilians would also join their families, situated in the
municipality of Neum or in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
