MOSTAR, May 19 (Hina) - Foreign Minister Mate Granic today opened
the General Consulate of Croatia in Mostar.
The Croatian government fully supported the establishing of
the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, and its following confederal
ties to Croatia, Granic told the gathering outside the consulate.
Granic also conveyed the government's support to the EU
Administration headed by Hans Koschnik.
The gathering was also addressed by the newly appointed
Consul, Ciro Grubisic, and by the Croatian ambassador in Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Zdravko Sancevic.
The opening ceremony was attended by leaders of Herzeg-Bosnia,
Kresimir Zubak, Jadranko Prlic and Dario Kordic, EU administrator
Koschnik, mayors of both eastern and western part of the city, UN
Spanish battalion officers, clergymen, and other Mostar notables.
