CROATIAN PARLIAMENT OFFICIALS LAY WREATHS FOR BLEIBURG VICTIMS

ZAGREB, May 15 (Hina) - A Croatian Parliament delegation led by Parliament speaker Nedjeljko Mihanovic today laid a wreath at the Altar of the Croatian Homeland, at the site of a medieval castle overlooking Zagreb, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Bleiburg tragedy and Way of the Cross victims. The delegation also laid a wreath at a memorial to Bleiburg victims in Mirogoj Cemetery and the "Wall of Pain" outside UNCRO headquarters. A memorial service was held in the Church of Christ the King for all those who had been killed in the Bleiburg field, Austria, after the end of World War II.
