SARAJEVO, May 12 (Hina) - The Bosnian Archbishop, cardinal Vinko
Puljic, protested today against the violence over civilians. The
protest was provoked by the latest Serb offensive in Sava river
valley in northern Bosnia.
In the statement, forwarded to Hina this evening, Puljic
recalled that over 120,000 Croats had lived in the area, while all
of them were in exile now, which itself pointed at the dreadful
consequences of Serb aggression.
"I expect all relevant political figures, here and abroad, to
take all measures they can in order to prevent the violence over
innocent civilians, and ensure their basic human rights, including
the right to home and homeland." cardinal Puljic said in the
statement.
